The primary purpose of student financial assistance programs at Wallace Community College is to assist students with meeting the cost of their education.  While all students are encouraged to apply it is ultimately the responsibility of the student and his/her family to finance their education.  Financial assistance is meant to supplement the amount you and your family contribute, 而不是取代它.  There are many sources of financial aid, including federal, state, institutional, and local funds.  The main types of assistance available to students are grants, scholarships, and work-study.  Wallace Community College does not participate in the federal student loan program.

Federal Student Aid requires a conversion process for courses in stand-alone Pell-eligible certificate programs. These certificate programs are not completely embedded in a degree that Wallace Community College offers. How much a student will be disbursed from their eligibility cannot be determined until the student registers for classes. Oftentimes this conversion results in a reduced amount of aid being disbursed. Example programs are Welding, 美容, and Practical Nursing. Please contact financial aid for more information.
